Mission:
SPX is a very giving community and is committed to helping others in need, when meeting life’s essential necessities is a challenge. The St. Pius X Good Samaritan Ministry is St. Pius’s opportunity to share with those in need within our parish family and parish community boundaries. This gift of giving is St. Pius’s way of “tithing outbound”.
Patron Saint: St. Vincent De Paul - Patron saint of charitable societies.
The Good Samaritan ministry can assist individuals/families with critical needs related to housing, utilities, food, and other essential necessities. This ministry also supports parish outreach activities like our monthly service at St. Mary's Food kitchen. The funding for this ministry will come from a small percentage of our parish offertory along with donations from generous individuals.
