    KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS

    Knights of Columbus is a Catholic men's fraternal and service organization dedicated to the principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism. Bishop Miege Council 843 meets the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Knights of Columbus Room.

    WOMEN'S CLUB

    Join in fellowship with all women of the parish in regular pot luck dinners, bake sales, other fundraisers and service events. You many also want to join in a smaller group, called a Circle, which meets monthly. Each Circle has a different emphasis and character. Find one that suits you or start your own.     MEN'S CLUB

    Men's Club is a social and service organization for all men dedicated to fellowship and fun through activities that raise funds for school and parish improvements and youth organizations. Meetings are the second Monday of the month at 7:30 p.m.

    CYO SPORTS

    Football, volleyball, basketball and track are offered to all children in the parish 3rd-8th grade through CYO. The Catholic Youth Organization allows children to participate and learn about the support with honesty and fair play. We always need coaches who will provide youth with the direction to grow in the image of Christ.

    GAME NIGHT

    Bring your family and friends and join fellow parishioners on the second Saturday evening of the month for a good old-fashioned game night - cards and board games.

    ST. MARY'S FOOD KITCHEN

    On the 1st Thursday of every month, parishioners from St. Pius X prepare and serve lunch to around 300 adults and children at the St. Mary's Food Kitchen (Willa Gill Center). Volunteers meet outside the west entrance outside the office at 8:45 a.m. and carpool. Parishioners purchase and prepare the food according to a planned menu.

    FOOD PANTRY

    Food Pantry reaches out to others in the broader community by serving those in need. Once a month we collect non-perishable food and other necessities as well as monetary contributions for Catholic Community Services Food Pantry. We need van drivers to deliver once a month.

    RESPECT LIFE COMMITTEE

    Dedicated to proclaiming the sanctity of human life as a gift from God and promoting a culture of life in word and deed. Various activities are scheduled throughout the year to support women and their babies and to reach out to women hurting from abortion.

    HOMEBOUND /CARE CENTER MINISTERS

    Communion is taken to those not able to attend Mass and to area care centers homes (like Trustwell). If you can volunteer for this, or you know someone who is homebound and would like a visitor, please contact Deacon Steve Bauer at sbauer@spxmission.org.

    LANDSCAPE AND GROUNDS MAINTENANCE

    Help maintain grounds around St. Pius church, offices and rectory by planting flowers, shrubs and trees, pruning, weeding, watering, shoveling snow, etc.

    OFFICE VOLUNTEER

    Volunteers help answer phones, stuff envelopes and bulletins and other clerical tasks as needed. We also invite other skills like marketing, communications, web design, or photography.

    FUNERAL DINNERS

    Funeral dinners strengthen the social fabric of the parish through service at the time of grief. Volunteers set up and serve funeral dinners, clean up afterwards and arrange for desserts.
