    AS WE APPROACH THE END OF LENT 2023

    COMMUNITY PENANCE SERVICE
    Thursday, March 30, at 7:00 PM. Fathers Alba, Kelly and Porter will be on hand to hear your confession.

    Holy Week, April 6, 7 and 8
    Holy Thursday: service will begin at 7:00 PM.

    Good Friday: Stations of the Cross at 3:00 PM. After the Stations, we will pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy Novena.

    Holy Saturday: service will begin at 8:00 PM.

     

    Parish office will be closed at noon on Holy Thursday and all day on Good Friday and Easter Monday.

    WALKING WITH MOMS IN NEED

    As part of the Walking With Moms in Need program at St. Pius X Parish, we are exploring the level of interest in a Mothers of Young Children Social Group. We envision a fun group for sharing stories, planning outings, giving yourself an evening out and moral support for the challenge of having young children. If you would be interested in joining such a group or assisting in organizing it, please call Mary Jo Hegstrom, (913)-706-3830, Karin Capron (913)-302-2359, or Toni Dodd (913)-219-0804.

    CYO NEWS

    Track registration is open for all children in grades 3-8. Please visit https://cyojwa.org/current-programs to register. Practices begin after Spring break. Plan for Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:45-6:45pm at Bishop Miege. VIRTUS trained volunteers can help coach the team.
